Overview
Universal Downloader helps users analyze supported media links and download available non-DRM media for personal use. The app is designed to keep most activity on your device.
Information the App May Use
- Media links that you paste into the app for analysis or download.
- Site session cookies saved through the in-app Site Login screen when a supported site requires account access.
- Download history stored locally on your device, such as title, thumbnail, file size, and output path.
- Premium activation information needed to verify access.
How Information Is Used
The app uses pasted links and saved site sessions only to analyze media, request available formats, prepare previews, and download selected files. Premium activation data is used to validate access to paid features.
Site Login Sessions
If you use Site Login, you are signing in directly inside a WebView for the site you choose. Session cookies may be used by the download engine so supported sites can recognize your logged-in session. You should only use accounts and content that you have permission to access.
Storage and Downloads
Downloaded files are saved to the folder you choose. Local history and settings remain on your device unless you remove the app data or delete items inside the app.
Third-Party Services
The app may communicate with supported media sites, Firebase services for activation, and update sources for the download engine. Those services may process requests according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Content Responsibility
Users are responsible for following the terms of each website and local laws. Universal Downloader does not bypass DRM protections and is intended for supported, accessible, non-DRM media.
